Custom Precision Glass Manufacturing

Friedrich & Dimmock, Inc. is a leading fabricator of precision drawn glass tubing & rod. We have been fabricating precision glass tubing products for over 100 years. Our micro capillary glass tubing and fused quartz drawing services meet the demanding glass component needs for the precision glass and quartz tubing industry.

Our proprietary CNC fabrication methods yield unparalleled control in both precision and accuracy of inner and outer diameters. By utilizing laser controlled processes to ensure sub-micron accuracy, we can fabricate precision glass micro capillary tubing and rod in a variety of specialty shapes and sizes.

This precision bore glass tubing can be further processed to precise lengths, ground, polished, sealed, chamfered, sandblasted, cerium lapped, or other finishing methods. Composed of borosilicate glass, fused quartz, and many types of specialty glass, we can produce products that are clean, chip free and ready to use.

We welcome working with your design team from prototype to fully functioning production OEM component. Small “one off” runs or high volume, we will custom engineer a solution that is innovative and cost effective, using a process that ensures the integrity of every piece.

Our electric furnaces are powered by more than 250 thousand watts of solar power—a renewable energy source that reduces the environmental impact more so than traditional energy sources.

Our glass products which are 100% recyclable are naturally sustainable. Due to its inert nature, our glass doesn’t deteriorate in quality, helps to reduce waste, and protects from harming the environment and depleting natural resources.
